Recurring Dreams
Experiencing the same dream more than once.
A recurring dream is a dream that occurs on more than one occasion with similar content. No one knows for sure why this happens, but a recurring dream may be portraying a topic that is very prominent or important in the subconscious mind of the dreamer, such as:
- A past traumatic event
- A matter of urgency
- An important real or imagined event
- A fear
Consider which aspects of the dream are repeated, including repetition of a general theme even if the dream events are not exactly the same. Chances are that you will see a parallel between the repeated theme and your real life. Your intuition may then tell you the reason behind your dream recurrence.
