Maxson J. McDowell, President of the C. G. Jung Foundation for Analytical Psychology, will present a 5-week class in Jungian Dreamwork Thursday evenings from May 22 through June 19, 2008 at the New York Open Center.
The seminal and highly influential psychotherapist Carl Jung felt that there is an objective source within all of us that speaks to us in our dreams, if we can learn how to listen. Dreams, he said, can show us how we are off-center and challenge us, even suggest ways forward in a crisis or impasse in life, but we need to interpret them carefully or we may project our desires or fears onto them and thus fail to heed their real message….
